New Hooters Restaurants Coming To Southshore, Odessa
Hooters has announced plans to open in south Hillsborough County and Odessa. It is also seeking a new downtown Tampa spot.

CLEARWATER, FL -- There's good news for fans of Hooters buffalo wings. The Clearwater-based restaurant chain has announced plans to build new restaurants in south Hillsborough County and Pasco County.
The Pasco County location will be coming to the Suncoast Crossing area on State Road 54 west of the Suncoast Parkway in Odessa. The new location will be a free-standing Hooters Restaurant with an anticipated opening date of late 2019 or early 2020. The closest Hooters are located at 5336 Treadway Drive in Port Richey, 3437 Commercial Way in Spring Hill and 13606 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa.
The Southshore location will be located in the Big Bend/Riverview area in 2020. Currently, the closest restaurant is located in Brandon at 10023 E. Adamo Drive.

In addition, Hooters is asking the public’s assistance as they look for a new location in the downtown Tampa/ Amalie Arena area. After 15 years at the Channelside location, the lease term is up at the end of this month. Sunday, Jan. 27 will be the last day at that location. Hooters Management Corp. set a record high for sales in 2018. The first Hooters opened in Clearwater on October 4, 1983.
Hooters Management Corp. owns and operates 25 Hooters Restaurant locations in Tampa Bay, Chicagoland and Manhattan.
