Police Investigating Cause Of Man's Death Found At Intersection

BLOOMINGDALE —RIVERVIEW, FL — A body of a white male was found Saturday morning at a Thonotosassa intersection by a person in the area, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.

The dead man was seen at 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 579 and Joe Ebert Road by the person passing through.

"We are in the preliminary stages of the investigation, but this case does appear to be criminal in nature," Sheriff Chad Chronister said. "As detectives work to identify the victim, we are urging anyone who has information to please contact us. The more details we have, the faster we can determine what happened."
