Man, 43, Critically Injured In Crash ID'd
A 43-year-old Riverview man was hospitalized in critical condition after a Saturday morning crash on U.S. 301.

RIVERVIEW, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a Saturday morning pedestrian crash that left a 43-year-old Riverview man critically injured.
According to the patrol, Judith Gran, 73, of Riverview was heading north on U.S. 301, approaching Big Bend Road, around 2:27 a.m. May 20. As Gran’s Hyundai Sonata moved toward the intersection, David Rios-Rodriguez entered the marked crosswalk.

Troopers say Rios-Rodriguez was in the crosswalk, but violated the signals. He was struck by Gran’s Sonata, the agency said.
Rios-Rodriguez was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are described as critical.
