Riverview Woman Killed After Striking Utility Pole Off Interstate 75

RIVERVIEW, FL — A 37-year-old woman was killed Friday after losing control of her car on Interstate 75 Friday and crashing into a utility pole.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the woman was headed south on I-75 at 10:28 p.m. when she lost control of the car, entered the west shoulder of the highway and hit the utility pole.

She was taken to the hospital where she died from her injuries.
