Riverview's Fall Reading Challenge Offers Brain Benefits, Prizes

"Fall Reading Challenge" has kicked off at the Riverview Library, and participants can win prizes and gain a lot of knowledge.

BLOOMINGDALE — RIVERVIEW, FL — The Riverview Library is encouraging kids, teens and adults to get busy reading by earning prizes and badges in its "Fall Reading Challenge" now through Dec. 11

You can register as an individual or family to track your reading activity at Fall Reading Challenge.

Select a reading challenge listed on the website, and you or the kids can be eligible to win free books, digital badges and other prizes.

In addition to reading together as a family, there are also many health benefits that reading provides to the mind.

Curbside pickup and borrow by mail are two options the library currently offers during the coronavirus pandemic.

Curbside pickup hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and closed on Sundays.
