Ruskin Man Dies After Crashing Into Rear Of Truck Hauling Cars On I-75
A 31-year-old Ruskin man has died following a crash on Interstate 75 with a tractor-trailer car hauler.
RUSKIN, FL — A 31-year-old Ruskin man has died following a crash on Interstate 75 with a tractor-trailer car hauler.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 2:36 a.m. Friday, the tractor-trailer truck driven by a 33-year-old Lakeland man was heading south on I-75 and stopped for traffic after another tractor-trailer car hauler caught fire and pulled onto the outside shoulder to detach the trailer from the truck cab.
The Ruskin man was also traveling south on I-75 and crashed into the rear of the stopped car hauler. He died from injuries suffered in the crash.
