Ruskin Teenager Faces 1st Degree Felony Charge: Deputies

After the body of a teenager was found in Ruskin June 23, detectives have accused a teen boy of being connected to his death.

RUSKIN, FL — Deputies are investigating a homicide involving two teenagers that occurred June 23 in Ruskin.

A teenage male was found dead in the 200 block of Manatee Drive at 7 p.m., June 23, authorities said. Detectives identified Jesus De la Cruz Magana, 16, as the suspect. He faces a first degree felony murder charge.

"Although this does not appear to be a random act of violence, I urge anyone with additional information to contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office," Sheriff Chad Chronister said.
