Sheriff's Helicopter Pilot Helps Catch Accused Armed Kidnapper: Video
Sheriff Chad Chronister credits the helicopter pilot with the aviation unit with helping to apprehend a man accused of armed kidnapping.

RIVERVIEW, FL — Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister is crediting the helicopter pilot with the sheriff's aviation unit with helping to apprehend a man accused of armed kidnapping.
Early Wednesday, the aviation unit received a call to help locate 25-year-old Warren Shaqeuce Jenkins II. A warrant had been issued for Jenkins' arrest on charges of armed kidnapping.
The aviation unit located Jenkins leaving the Wawa story on U.S. 301 and walking toward a vehicle at the gas pumps.

With the pilot's help, deputies were able to take Jenkins into custody.
"The collaboration between our aviation unit and patrol deputies is exemplified first hand in this video," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "It's thanks to their vigilance we can keep the citizens of Hillsborough County safe and protected."

Jenkins was charged with:
- Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon
- Aggravated Battery with a firearm of a pregnant woman
- Kidnapping with possession of a firearm
- Armed false imprisonment
- Harassing a witness
- Felon in possession of a firearm.
