Couple Awoken When SUV Crashes Into Bedroom: Troopers

A driver lost control of her vehicle, causing it to go airborne and hit a trailer home, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

RIVERVIEW, FL — A 30-year-old Wimauma woman suffered serious injuries when her SUV crashed into a trailer home Friday morning in Riverview, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

According to authorities, the woman lost control of her vehicle about 3 a.m. on U.S. Highway 301 southbound near El Paso Drive. Her SUV then went into the air after going onto the northbound side. The SUV then hit a concrete barrier wall and crashed into a residential trailer on Rice Creek Drive. A man and woman inside the home suffered minor injuries.
