2 Bradenton Streets Closed For Construction

The City of Bradenton closed two streets Monday for construction. The closings are expected to last for weeks.

BRADENTON, FL — Motorists who use 33rd Street West or 12th Street West may want to find different routes to get around Bradenton. The city announced Monday that stretches of both roads have been closed for construction.

The closing on 33rd Street West runs between Seventh and Ninth avenues west. The city closed the road section for installation of a new water main and storm sewer. The closing is expected to remain in place through Oct. 6.

The 12th Street West closing affects the stretch between Manatee and Sixth avenues west. A new storm sewer is being installed, according to an email from the city. This closing is expected to last through Sept. 29.
