Abandoned Sick Puppies Survive, Move To Foster Home: Manatee County
Rocky and Lilo were found abandoned in a sealed box near a Bradenton Walmart earlier this month, Manatee County Animal Welfare said.

BRADENTON, FL — Two abandoned, sick puppies have “overcome incredible odds” and survived the parvovirus, according to a Facebook post from Manatee County Animal Welfare.
Rocky and Lilo, who suffered from canine parvovirus and temperatures of nearly 106 degrees, were found in a sealed box near Walmart in Bradenton earlier this month.
The puppies “are true survivors,” the agency said.

After two weeks of intensive care at the emergency room and the dedicated parvo ward at Bishop Animal Shelter, the puppies have been moved to a foster home for further recovery for the next month. Eventually, they’ll be ready to find their forever homes
“Their resilience and determination have been truly inspiring, and we're grateful for all the support and love they've received along the way,” the county said.
