Bradenton Police 'Fill The Truck' For Good Cause
it's not too late to help if you still want to get in on the Bradenton Police Department's holiday toy giving event.
BRADENTON, FL — The Bradenton Police Department literally helped "fill the truck" with toys for a good cause last weekend. But it's not too late to help if you still want to get in on the holiday giving event.
The department will continue to collect toys throughout the month of December to benefit the Downtown Dream Center & Hope Family Services.

Dubbed "Fill the Truck," the event was true to its name last weekend as the department filled an entire police truck with toys.
"Thanks to the help of the Gator Lounge & our community we were able to 'fill the truck' at our toy drive this past weekend," the department announced Wednesday on its Facebook page.

"This a great opportunity to get your family together and participate in something that will bring a smile to a child’s face this holiday season!," the department added.
