Bradenton Teen Shot in Knee
The shooting is under investigation by the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

BRADENTON, FL — A 14-year-old Bradenton boy suffered injuries in a Sunday shooting incident.
According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called out to the 6000 block of 34th Street West just before 2 p.m. Oct. 23. When they arrived, they found the boy suffering from a gunshot wound to the knee.
The teen was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities were told an acquaintance of the victim fired the shot. No reason for the shooting was provided, an email from the agency said.
The teen, whose name Patch is not releasing, suffered non-life threatening injuries, deputies say.
