Bradenton Woman Robbed as Gun Stuck in Her Face

She had just parked at her home and got out of her vehicle when a man stole her purse at gunpoint, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said.

A Bradenton woman had a gun pointed in her face and her purse robbed after she parked at her home Monday night, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said.

The 34-year-old woman has just parked her vehicle at her residence in the 300 block of Springdale Drive and opened the door when a man "stuck a pistol in her face, said nothing and then snatched a purse from her," according to the sheriff's report.

The suspect, described as a man of an unknown age dressed in all black, was last seen heading east toward 34th Street West, authorities said.

The woman was uninjured.
