What: 4th of July Skate

Where: Sutton Park, 1036 6th Street W., Palmetto
When: July 4, starting at 5 p.m.
Featuring a performance by Great White, as well as good and craft vendors.
When: July 3, gates open at 5:30 p.m.
The first 1,500 fans through the gate at this Bradenton Marauders game will get a free t-shirt. Fireworks will follow the game.

Where: Anna Maria Island from Coquina Beach to City Pier Park in Anna Maria
When: July 4, 10 a.m.
What: Red, White and BOOM!
When: July 4, 5 p.m.
Grab a seat or bring a blanket to the museum’s Riverside Plaza for a frontrow view of the fireworks over the Manatee River. There will be food trucks and a cash bar, as well as activities for the kids. $25 admission; children 4 and under are free.
