Florida Has 30 Of America’s Fast-Growing Companies

LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL — With the American economy on an upswing, it shouldn’t be surprising that many companies across the nation are growing by leaps and bounds. Many of the country’s fast-growing firms, as it turns out, happen to be in the Sunshine State.

That’s according to Inc. The business magazine has released its list of the country’s 5,000 fastest-growing companies with many Florida firms scoring placement. We have the list of the 30 Florida companies that made the top 500 (see below).

Inc. said it picked the fastest-growing private firms in America because they are "creators."

"They create companies, they create value, and they create jobs — 619,631 of them over the last three years," the report said. "You'll also discover the newest hot spots, the coolest products, and the people who make it all happen."

Florida’s fastest-growing company is Lakewood Ranch-based Adva-Net. It scored 13th overall on the national list with an estimated 2016 revenue of $24.4 million. Three-year growth was estimated at 13,462 percent. The company specializes in pain management, post-acute care management and addiction recovery related to workers’ compensation claims.
