Police Identify Woman Whose Body Was Found At FL Traffic Crash Site
The death of a woman whose body was found at the scene of a traffic crash in Bradenton is being investigated as a homicide, police said.
BRADENTON, FL — A woman whose body was found at the scene of a Sunday night traffic crash has been identified, Bradenton police wrote in a social media post.
The death of Thania Fuenmayor, 44, is being investigated as a homicide, authorities said.
Officers responded to a report of a crash in the 2100 block of 8th Avenue East around 8:30 p.m.

They found the victim with “extensive injuries [that were] inconsistent with the crash,” police said. Fuenmayor died at the scene.
Bradenton police detectives and the Manatee Homicide Investigation Unit have taken over the investigation.

Her death appears to be an isolated incident, police said.
