BRADENTON, FL — A lost dog wandered into a Bradenton Dollar General around closing time and “pawsitively refused to leave,” Bradenton police shared on their Facebook page Tuesday morning.

Police were called to the store at 2923 Manatee Ave. W. — which “really needed to close” — to help with Bentley, a “giant pooch” who found his way into the store. (Watch police bodycam footage from the dog's adventures below.)

The 135-pound pup broke through a gate at his home and walked a few hours to the dollar store, police said. The four-legged customer spent hours browsing the merchandise.
