Manatee County Veterans Day Parade 2016: Time, Location, Route
The Manatee County Veterans Council is hosting its annual Veterans Day Parade Friday.
PALMETTO, FL — Folks who want to pay their respects to America’s men and women in uniform will get their chance this week. The Manatee County Veterans Council’s annual Veterans Day Parade steps off in Palmetto Friday morning.
The annual parade is scheduled to begin at the Manatee County Fairgrounds, 1303 13th Ave. W., at 10:15 a.m. Nov. 11. The parade is set to follow a path south on 11th Avenue West with an end point set at Sutton Park, 1050 6th St. W.
Once the parade is over, a service will take place starting around 11 a.m. The historic village and Veterans museum will be open to the public after the ceremony.
