Motorcyclist, 18, Seriously Injured on U.S. 41, Authorities Say
The Bradenton teenager was ejected from his motorcycle Friday afternoon in a crash involving three vehicles on U.S. 41, authorities report.

An 18-year-old Bradenton motorcyclist was seriously injured when another vehicle pulled out in front of him on U.S. 41 on Friday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Austin I. Jackson swerved his motorcycle to the left to attempt to avoid a collision but was struck on the right side by a 2010 Ford driven by Everett L. Gresiak, 48, of Bradenton, investigators said.
Gresiak had failed to yield to the motorcycle's right of way as he attempted to turn left out of a parking lot at 6916 U.S. 41 to head north, according to the FHP's report.
Jackson was ejected from the vehicle and landed in the northbound left and center lanes of U.S. 41. His 2003 Suzuki motorcycle kept going into the driveway at 6920 U.S. 41 and hit the front of a 2000 Dodge driven by Preston S. Ogline, 42, of Bradenton, authorities said.
Jackson was transported to Blake Trauma Center in serious condition. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
There were no other injuries, and alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the case, according to the highway patrol release.
Gresiak was charged with violation of right of way from a driveway, officials said.
