The event is on Mar. 14 from 3-5pm. The fundraiser is for AMICCO and is sponsored by Sandbar Restaurant and Anna Maria Island Sun.

From Sandbar Pavilion, AMISUN:The very popular Oldies Beach Dance is Tuesday, March 14 from 3-5 pm at the Sandbar Pavilion at 100 Spring Avenue, Anna Maria. This fundraiser is for the Anna Maria Island Concert Chorus & Orchestra (AMICCO) and is sponsored by the Sandbar Restaurant and the Anna Maria Island Sun.

The Oldies Beach Dance will feature Gulf Drive Band including accomplished musicians, Bil Bowdish and Ted Young and vocalist, Judy Lynn. They will be performing a danceable mix of oldies from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s plus some favorite swing, jazz, country and popular music. You will also enjoy incredibly talented special guest, Koko Ray. If you haven’t seen KoKo Ray perform, you are in for a treat when he plays two saxophones at the same time --- harmony on one and melody on the other. Jazz Fest and Oldies Beach Dance are the only concerts that these talented musicians perform together. There is an energy between them that you do not want to miss. Bring your dancing shoes or just relax and enjoy the fun.
