Tiny Kitten Rescued From Bushes Outside Bradenton Police Station
A tuxedo kitten was rescued from shrubbery outside the Bradenton police station and named Bush, officials said.

BRADENTON, FL — When Detective Liza Moyett heard something strange outside the station, she decided to investigate, the Bradenton Police Department wrote in a Facebook post.
She was surprised to find a tiny kitten, “terrified and dehydrated,” in the shrubbery outside the building, the agency said.
The tuxedo kitten was named Bush by one of the front desk officers.

The “little munchkin” is available for adoption through Manatee County Animal Welfare, BPD said. “Don’t worry. If you adopt ‘Bush,’ you’re free to change his name!”

The county’s Clear the Shelters initiative, part of a nationwide pet adoption drive, is underway through Aug. 31.
Through the end of the month, all adoption fees are waived for all pets, MCAW said.
