MANATEE COUNTY, FL — With Bradenton-area residents celebrating Thanksgiving on Thursday, here are some closures and schedule changes affecting government offices, facilities and services over the holiday weekend.
Manatee County government offices: All offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Trash Collection: Garbage, yard waste and recycling in unincorporated Manatee County areas are postponed one day on Thursday. The regular schedule resumes Monday.

In the city of Bradenton, residential solid waste and yard waste collection will be delayed by one day. Thursday collection will move to Friday and Friday collection will move to Saturday. The city’s regular schedule will resume Monday.
Manatee County Area Transit: The MCAT fixed route and Handy Bus services will not be available on Thursday but will resume on Friday. The Anna Maria Trolley and the Beach Express will operate on Thanksgiving.

Manatee County Preserves, Parks and Beaches: Open on Thanksgiving.
Manatee County Golf Course: Closes at noon on Thursday.

G.T. Bray Recreation Center: Closed on Thursday and Friday.
Manatee County Public Libraries: Closed Thursday and Friday.
Bradenton City Hall: Closed Thursday and Friday.
