Two people were hospitalized following a Wednesday morning fire at a Valrico home.

VALRICO, FL — Hillsborough County Fire Rescue officials are investigating an early morning mobile home fire in Valrico that sent two people to the hospital.
According to the agency, a 911 call came in around 2 a.m. March 29 about a mobile home fire in the 2200 block of St. Cloud Avenue South. When firefighters arrived on the scene, they saw heavy flames coming from the home and a vehicle that was parked outside.
Crews initially began working to attack flames in the home’s interior, but were forced into a defensive stance due to heavy involvement, the agency wrote in a Wednesday morning email. It took firefighters about 30 minutes to bring the blaze under control.
