3 Dead In Apparent Brandon Murder, Suicide: Deputies

BRANDON, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating what its deputies say is a double murder/suicide in the Brandon area.

According to the agency, deputies found the bodies of three adults inside a home in the 100 block of Hickory Creek Drive Friday afternoon.

No further information is being released at this time, including the names of the deceased. Detectives were reportedly waiting on a search warrant to enter the home as of Friday afternoon.

With an estimated 42,000 deaths attributed to suicide annually, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention lists this as the 10th leading cause of death in the United States.
