Fifth of May Shopping Day for GFWC Brandon Jr. Woman's Club

The Fifth of May Shopping Day is under way at the historic meeting place for the GFWC Brandon Junior Woman's Club, a structure built in 1928 that once served as Brandon's first library.

The fundraiser is to help pay for renovations to the building, at 129 North Moon Avenue, north of Brandon Boulevard. The building has been designated an historic building.

The sale, through 1 p.m., includes as well an art auction, bake sale, raffle prizes and refreshments.

Vendors include Beijo Bags, Premier Designs Jewelry, Pampered Chef, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Simple Sayings Cards, etc., Scentsy Wickless Candles, Tidings of Love Angel Pins and Clinging Cross, Pirate Cover Chocolates, Dog Bandanna's & Accessories and more.
