7-Eleven Near O'Brien's Among 2 Gas Stations Robbed in Brandon

A male suspect entered the 7-Eleven on South Kings Avenue, jumped over the counter and demanded money.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's office is investigating two robberies that occurred at Brandon area gas stations. 

On Aug. 9 at about 2 a.m., the sheriff's office says a male suspect entered the Chevron Gas Station, 965 E. Brandon Blvd., jumped over the counter and demanded money. He then grabbed money from the register and fled through the front door heading west, according to an emailed news release.

On Aug. 13 at about 1:02 a.m., a male suspect entered the 7-Eleven, 1020 S. Kings Ave., and approached the clerk. The suspect showed that he had a large knife and demanded money. After getting some cash from the clerk, the suspect left through front door and went in a southern direction, according to the release.
