The Emergency Care Help Organization (ECHO) in Brandon seeks volunteers in a myriad of capacities. ECHO provides food, clothing and household furnishings to individuals and families facing an emergency situation. Help can be sought up to four times in one lifetime.
Volunteers are needed Monday through Friday for one of two shifts: from 8:30am to 12:30pm or from 10 am to 2pm. The following positions are available:
* Clothing Sorter: Receives donations and provides donors with receipts and a copy of ECHO's monthly newsletter. Conduct daily clothing inventories to determine needs. Sort and deliver clothes to hanging area.
