Jahmaal Jones Graduates from Marietta College

Jahmaal Jones of Valrico was among more than 300 students who received diplomas at Marietta College's 176th graduation ceremony on Sunday, May 12, in the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center. Jones completed requirements for the bachelor of arts degree with a major in broadcasting.

Carl Bernstein, a Pulitzer-Prize winning reporter and author, delivered the commencement address to the Class of 2013.

Located in Marietta, Ohio, at the confluence of the Muskingum and Ohio rivers, Marietta College is a four-year liberal arts college. Tracing its roots to the Muskingum Academy begun in 1797, the college was officially chartered in 1835. Today Marietta College serves a body of 1,400 full-time students. The college offers more than 40 majors and has been listed among Barron's Best Buys in College Education and Peterson's Competitive Colleges, and has been recognized as one of the top regional comprehensive colleges by U.S. News and World Report and The Princeton Review.
