Thad C. Knowles, 88, passed away on Feb. 8.
Thad was a lifelong resident of the Brandon area, who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Norene Elizabeth Knowles and daughter, Judy Carol Knowles-Leasure. Thad is survived by his loving family, children, Robin (Lorna) Knowles, Mindy Knowles and Calvin Knowles; and grandchildren, Tyler Knowles, Matthew Knowles, Jamie Flens and Katie Flens.

Funeral services were conducted on Feb. 12. He was laid to rest at Providence Cemetery.
