Armwood Football: Hawks Score a Win (35-18) at Strawberry Crest
The Armwood High School football team traveled crosstown to Strawberry Crest in Dover on Oct. 12, where the Hawks scored their sixth season win.
The Armwood Hawks made it a 6-1 season with their Oct. 12 win against the Strawberry Crest Chargers.
Nehemiah Miguel reportedly scored two touchdowns in the Armwood rally win. The Hawks had been down 0-6 in the first quarter. The Chargers scored a touchdown in all but the second quarter.

The win makes the Hawks 6-1 for the season and 4-0 in league play. The Chargers left the field with a 2-4 record, including three league losses and no league wins.

Next up for the Chargers, under head coach John Kelly, is a home game Oct. 18 against the Leto Falcons, who like the Brandon Eagles have yet to win a game this season. The Brandon Eagles (0-6) lost their Oct. 12 game against Plant (0-55). Meanwhile, Leto (0-7) bowed to Bloomingdale (0-38).
Next up for the Hawks, under head coach Sean Callahan, is an away game Oct. 18 at Hillsborough High (5-1). The Terriers lost their first game of the season Oct. 12 against Sickles (22-23). The Gryphons, who lost to Armwood the week before (16-20), in a fourth-quarter rally by the Hawks, stand 4-2 for the season and 2-1 in league play.
