Students At Armwood High Being Sent Home On Supervised Dismissal
Armwood High School had a lockdown then it turned into a lockout Monday afternoon following reports of a gun on campus.
SEFFNER, FL — Students at Armwood High School have been able to leave the building under strict supervision following deputies' search for a gun that had been reported on campus, Hillsborough County Public Schools said.
At first the school was on lockdown, and then it went to lockout when officers and staff realized there was no active threat at the school, officials said. A lockout is when the school doors to outside are secured and the school day goes on as normal, according to staff.
