Deputies, Students, Target To Serve Holiday Meals to Seniors Today
For years, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, with local partners, has been serving holiday meals to seniors who might otherwise not have an opportunity to do so. It's a great family like gathering for people who might not have family nearby.

For the past 10 years, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with Target, Riverview High School and East Bay High School to feed more than 500 Riverview seniors at area venues, including the International Independent Showmen’s Association.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office organizes the event, Target donates all of the food and the high school culinary teams prepare and serve the food at the event.
This year, students will cook more than 25 turkeys, 10 gallons of gravy, hundreds of pounds of potatoes, stuffing and green beans, and hundreds of cookies.
