Duck Donuts To Open 1st Tampa Bay Shop In Bloomingdale March 25

BRANDON, FL — Duck Donuts, known for serving warm, made-to-order doughnuts, announced the grand opening of its first Tampa Bay shop, located in Bloomingdale Square, on Saturday, March 25 at 6 a.m.

The shop at 821 E Bloomingdale Ave. in Brandon is owned and operated by father-and-son duo Jay and Jason Patel. Originally from India, Jay Patel, a passionate entrepreneur, has been a Florida resident for the past 30 years.

To celebrate the grand opening, the first guest in line on March 25 will receive a special gift basket filled with Duck Donuts merchandise and one free dozen doughnuts per month for a year. In addition, the shop will be giving away prizes throughout the day including retail items and free doughnuts.

“We are delighted to be opening the first Duck Donuts in the Tampa Bay area,” said Jay Patel. “The community has been patiently waiting for us to open our doors, and now we cannot wait to sprinkle happiness to all with our warm, delicious and made-to-order doughnuts.”

The 1,800-square-foot retail shop reflects the franchise’s iconic beach theme and family-friendly atmosphere with indoor seating.

Upon entering the store, customers are welcomed with the aroma of warm, light vanilla cake doughnuts.

Customers can create their own doughnut combination by choosing from a variety of coatings, toppings and drizzles, including traditional favorites such as chocolate icing with sprinkles and more adventurous creations such as maple icing with bacon.

The family-friendly stores offer a viewing area where children and adults alike can watch their doughnuts being made.

In addition to doughnuts, the Brandon location serves Duck Donuts’ signature coffee blends, espresso beverages, doughnut breakfast sandwiches, doughnut sundaes, frozen beverages, milkshakes and select retail items.
