The Hillsborough County Veterans Park and Museum Committee invites the public to its Civil War-themed War Between the States memorial groundbreaking ceremony. The groundbreaking ceremony will be held at Saturday, April 20 at 2 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park 3602 U.S. 301.
The memorial commemorates Tampa Bay’s naval history during the Civil War, and is one of 12 dedicated to Hillsborough County veterans who served in each of America’s wars since Hillsborough County’s inception in 1834.
