In honor of April as Alcohol Awareness Month, Hillsborough County’s Aging Services Division is hosting a health presentation at the Brandon Senior Center, 612 N. Parsons Ave., Brandon, Thursday, April 18 at 1 pm. The presentation is open to Hillsborough County residents ages 50 and over.
A licensed practical nurse will present An Invisible Epidemic: Alcoholism and Drug Dependence Among Older Adults. Information presented will include how alcoholism is affecting seniors and its impact on their future health.
