BRANDON, FL — No one was injured but a couple and their dog were displaces after the attic caught fire and severely damaged their Brandon home Monday.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue received multiple calls at 7:50 a.m. about a house on fire at 903 Marjorie Ave. in Brandon.
Engine 37 confirmed heavy smoke coming from the eaves of the front of the house and began attacking the fire from the attic, getting it under control in about 20 minutes.

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire.
