Gornto Lake Road In Brandon Closed

BRANDON, FL – Hillsborough County is advising motorists in the Sterling Ranch area of south Brandon to avoid South Gornto Lake Road.

Gornto Lake Road from Providence Ridge Boulevard to Providence Lakes Boulevard is closed to through traffic while workers repair a depression in the roadway. Hillsborough County expects the road to remain closed for several days.

Hillsborough County said the closure on the north-south road is expected to impact traffic, and advises motorists to seek other routes in the area. Motorists who must drive through the area are advised to observe all barricades, directional signs and detour routes.

Normal traffic patterns will resume following the work’s completion.
