Hillsborough County Parks Schedule Reopening: Tropical Storm Eta

Officials have rescheduled the reopening of county parks after cleanup and damage assessments following Tropical Storm Eta.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Hillsborough County conservation parks and nature preserves, including hiking trails remain closed on Friday as staff members assess possible damage to parks and preserves as a result of Tropical Storm Eta.

Officials will also conduct repairs and cleanup efforts if needed.

The county anticipates the parks to reopen on Saturday.

Neighborhood parks, recreations centers and dog parks are open.

Specific area and amenities within parks and preserves that are currently flooded may remain closed for several days.
