Bank Robbery Suspect in Critical Condition After Deputy Involved Shooting in Valrico
The shooting happened at the suspect's home at 4719 Bloomingdale Avenue where he lives with his parents.

Detectives from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office are on scene of a deputy
involved shooting. The location of the shooting is 4719 Bloomingdale Avenue.

A deputy shot an individual according to a statement from the sheriff's office. The condition of the deputy and the victim has not been released.
A resident who has lived on the street for 17 years said she didn’t hear any shots.

“I didn’t know anything was wrong until I saw the police lights flashing outside on the street.”
It’s the first time she recalls any problems of this sort on the street.
“It’s a very quiet neighborhood normally.”
The woman described the residents of the home where the shooting occurred as a “quiet” middle-aged couple who have lived on the street for almost 10 years. “I have never heard or seen any trouble at the house before.”
As part of the investigation, authorities have blocked from Little Road east to the end of Bloomingdale Avenue which restricts access to the back entrance to River Hills and the entrance to Twin Lakes of Brandon.
Sheriff David Gee is at the location and plans to address the media tonight, according to a spokesperson for the department.
This is the second deputy-involved shooting in as many weeks in the Greater Brandon area. Trespass suspect Evelio David Rodriguez was outside a outside Barnacles Restaurant in Brandon.
