Holiday Hiring Under Way in Greater Brandon and Beyond

Holiday hiring is under way nationwide and in the Greater Brandon area, as is the case for the Kohl's Corp., which according to a TBO.com article is expecting to fill more than 52,000 jobs this holiday season.

That works out, on average, to 41 workers per store, according to the TBO.com report. But what that means for job hopefuls in Greater Brandon begs a closer look, which again is a great reason to look further at the Kohl's example.

Kohl's in Brandon is at 11151 Lake Brandon Drive, south of Causeway Boulevard.

Looking for "careers" on the Kohl's Web site lands a viewer, through a series of follow-through links, on the snagajob.com page, which as of Oct. 1 noted eight job openings for Kohl's in Brandon.

But from there, job seeking can be expanded to include a vast number of companies doing business locally.

To find jobs in the Greater Brandon area, by company and location, enter the appropriate ZIP code on snagajob.com, which as of Oct. 1 noted 1,558 jobs in 33511 and 1,698 jobs in 33510. (Note: Some of these jobs are duplicated and jobs are categorized as being as close as 0-5 miles and as far as 30 miles or more.)
