Lakeland Woman Killed In Fiery Crash On Interstate 4
The Ford Escape then collided with a concrete barrier wall and burst into flames, according to the highway patrol.
SEFFNER, FL — A 68-year-old Lakeland woman has died following a crash on Interstate 4 just east of State Road 579 in Seffner.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 11:07 p.m. Sunday, the Lakeland woman was heading west on I-4 in a Ford Escape. A Honda Accord driven by a 22-year-old Riverview man was also traveling west on west on I-4 next to the Ford Escape.
Troopers said the Lakeland woman changed lanes and collided with the Honda. The Ford Escape then collided with a concrete barrier wall and burst into flames. The Lakeland woman died at the scene.

The Riverview man was not injured.
