Man Found Dead In Dover Driveway, Police Search For Killer

DOVER, FL — Authorities are searching for the person who shot and killed a man found dead in a Dover home's driveway on Monday night.

Investigators said at 10:40 p.m., shots were heard and people were screaming on Harwell Estates Drive. A man's body was later found in the driveway.

It does not appear that this was a random act of violence, deputies said. Detectives do not have a description of suspects yet.

"Our detectives are working with very little information right now at this point in their investigation," Sheriff Chad Chronister said. "I'm urging anyone who has any knowledge of what led up to this incident, or who heard something late last night in that area to please call us with that information."
