No Injuries After Truck Jackknifes On I-4 Ramp
An Orlando man was cited in a Tuesday morning crash that caused a Brandon man's semi to jackknife on an I-4 entrance ramp.

PLANT CITY, FL — A 19-year-old Orlando man was cited following a Tuesday morning crash that caused a semi to jackknife on the State Road 39 entrance ramp to Interstate 4. The accident caused about 200 gallons of diesel fuel to spill from the truck.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Michael Joseph Martinez and Demetrias Dwight Gray, 40, of Brandon were both entering eastbound I-4 from State Road 39 and State Road 39A, respectively, around 8 a.m. May 30. Martinez, a highway patrol report said, failed to yield where the two roads merged together at the entrance ramp.
As a result of the failure to yield, troopers say Martinez’s Isuzu SUV struck the semi Gray was driving. Following impact, Gray lost control of the tractor trailer, which jackknifed and collided with a guardrail.
