BRANDON, FL — Deputies are searching for a bank robbery suspect who is accused of demanding money from a Brandon bank, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.

A white male passed a note to a teller at Regions Bank, 11314 Causeway Blvd, Brandon, Monday telling them to give him money. He was given an undisclosed amount of money at about 1 p.m. and then left the building, authorities said.

Investigators said it looked as if he wore similar clothes as a suspect from an attempted bank robber that occurred Thursday also in Brandon at The Bank of Tampa.
