Plant City Shooting Victims Reportedly Had Been 'Targeted'

Plant City police responded to a call Sunday night at an apartment complex in Walden Lake to find four people had been shot and injured.

Police believe the victims were targeted and the search is one for at least one gunman, according to an ABC Action News report, which includes as well on-the-scene reporting with neighbors.

Police arrived on the scene May 20 at about 6:32 p.m. to find the victims with varying degrees of injury, according to the police report. Two victims were airlifted from the scene and the other two were transported by ambulance to the hospital.

The names of the victims had not yet been released.

The apartments are at 1518 Plantation Grove Court. The police report identified the apartment complex as Hunter's Ridge.

The investigation is continuing.
