Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Seeks Public's Help Identifying Suspected Killer

Detectives released an image of a white man who wore all black and is connected to a Dover woman's killing. Her body was found Wednesday.

DOVER, FL — Update: A white man who is 6-feet tall and weighs 180 pounds has been described by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office as a suspect in a Dover homicide that occurred Wednesday, a news release said.

The man captured in an image that the sheriff's office has shared wore dark blue jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt, a black hat and black Nike shoes. Officers said he drives a black two-door Dodge Ram pickup truck with a chrome grill and bumper. The front right headlight on the truck is out.

Deputies have begun a death investigation after a body was found Wednesday morning in the Dover area, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.

Detectives discovered the dead woman near McIntosh Road at about 10:15 a.m., according to police. Authorities said she had upper body trauma.
