Poll: Wendy's Versus Burger King, You Buying It?

News reports are circulating about a securities analyst's contention that he expects "Wendy's to overtake privately held Burger King for the No. 2 market share position within the limited-service hamburger sector, perhaps as soon as this year."

That's the view of Mark Kalinowski, of Janney Capital Markets. His bullish projections, from a market-share perspective, reportedly are based on same-store sales momentum and a visit to a protoype Wendy's store in Phoenix, according to a Nov. 30 report in Nation's Restaurant News.
