Rideout Road Shooting Leaves 3 Injured

A Tuesday afternoon shooting that left three people injured is under investigation by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

TAMPA, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Tuesday shooting that left three men injured.

According to the agency, the shooting occurred in the 7800 block of Rideout Road around 2:30 p.m. June 6. When deputies arrived, they found three adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the men was treated on the scene while the other two were taken to the hospital, an email from the sheriff’s office said.

As of 3:53 p.m. June 6, deputies said the two men who were hospitalized are believed to have injuries that are not life threatening. The shooting, the agency noted, does not appear to be random.
