A 30-year-old Seffner man is dead following a two-vehicle crash on I-4 Wednesday night.

SEFFNER, FL — A 30-year-old Seffner man was killed in a Wednesday night crash on westbound Interstate 4.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Alberto Martinez was heading west on I-4 around 8:39 p.m. Jan. 25 in a Chevrolet S-10. At that time, Donna Haynes, 58, of Nova Scotia was also heading westbound in a Suzuki.

Troopers say Martinez passed Haynes just west of Branch Forbes Road by using the outside paved shoulder. When he reentered the travel lanes, Martinez’s truck sideswiped the Suzuki, a highway patrol report said.
